Violation of Women's Pride

As much as I love taking photos. I oppose photoshooting women. I am against violating one's pride.

It's like taking their pride away, or rather they are giving away their pride, their beauty, just to feel accepted for a short period. Why would one sell its pride for something that is not worthwhile? Where's her sense of shame?

"Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them."

Say; O who you believe, lower you gaze. Lower their gaze on whom? Surely its on woman. Plus, it does not help when hundreds of thousands of woman posing voluptuously on the web.

"And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands and etc etc, and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss."

Likewise, women should lower their gaze on men and He asked the woman not to draw attention of man let alone showing off for public to enjoy her beauty. What ever happens to her sense of shame? Where has it gone? Guarding her modesty without sense of shame? That doesn't make sense at all.

Come on, it's destroying ones privacy and setting their own house on fire. Think of thousands of men who does not lower their gaze and manipulate it to their own satisfaction.

It's just my view on photoshooting of women. (eh, tak sama tau merelakan diri diperkosa oleh kamera2 lelaki yang penuh bernafsu dengan amik gambar untuk sendiri-sendiri buat kenangan *takut salah faham pulak nanti*) You can accept or oppose as it might be right or wrong. It's just to create spark for us to think of what we're doing. You'll get what you give, really.

Sorry if you feel offended. I pray to Allah for mercy and forgiveness. Amin.
